OLQMCA Board Releases Tuition Rates for 2019-2020 Academic Year

In their monthly meeting last week, the Board of Directors set the new tuition rates for the 2019-2020 academic year.  The main concern for Mrs. Zuschlag and the Board is to find the balance between maintaining the academy’s financial viability while keeping tuition affordable.  The Board took into account that the actual average cost per child is well over $7,500.  We rely heavily on the fundraisers and outside sources of income to keep our tuition affordable.  Having said that, our operating costs continue to rise as a result of many factors, including increased insurance expenses, costs of supplies, digital subscriptions, textbooks,  yearly rent to the parish to use the school building, facility improvements and utilities.

Taking all of this into account, the Board of Directors has increased the tuition rates $100 per child , $10 per month, for the upcoming school year.  A tuition schedule with all the rates can be found by clicking the link below.

We will once again be using FACTS Tuition Management as our tuition collection company.  As your re-registration becomes final, you will be automatically rolled over in FACTS to the 2019-2020 academic year.  Please note that last year, the Diocese of Brooklyn covered the per family administrative cost for FACTS, in the upcoming year, each family who uses a 10 month payment plan will be charged a one-time fee of $45, if your family opts to pay the tuition in full in July, the fee will be reduced to $15.

As a reminder there are some financial aid opportunities available through the Diocese of Brooklyn.  Please go to futuresineducation.0rg to complete an application.
